KBR's Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) group is looking for a Lead Electrical Engineer to support the Abadi LNG project, one of the largest projects in Asia. This project will provide front-end design (FEED) for onshore liquefied natural gas facilities & will have a peak production capacity targets of 9.5 million tons per annum of LNG and 150 million standard cubic feet per day of pipeline gas. The Abadi LNG project has been designated a project of national strategic importance by the Indonesian government.
The Lead Electrical Engineer will be responsible for electrical design of the OLNG facility.
Implement government regulations and industrial codes in alignment with SoW & BoD requirements
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering
Minimum of 10 + years of related experience, with average experience of 20 + years in the Oil & Gas industry
5 + years as a Lead Electrical Engineer with LNG facilities
Demonstrated capacity with electrical system design, construction & startup of LNG facilities
Extensive experience in FEED & EPC engineering activities related to electrical system design of LNG facilities with hands-on experience in all phases of projects from FEED to detail engineering & design through construction, pre-commissioning & commissioning, project management & QC controls & procedures of electrical engineering designs
Highly proficient in electrical control systems, power generation systems, electrical distribution systems, earthing systems, & electrical equipment including transformers, motors, & AC/DC UPS
Detail understanding of large electrical power generation, distribution systems, & preferably combined cycle power generation systems
